Buck's story at last!So excited for a new series following the fire fighters' families。 I've been hoping for Buck to get his own story for ages。 This author has handled some wonderful characters in her previous books - from a main character who is diagnosed with Autism to mature adults -, so I'm looking forward to what comes next。 Buck's story at last!So excited for a new series following the fire fighters' families。 I've been hoping for Buck to get his own story for ages。 This author has handled some wonderful characters in her previous books - from a main character who is diagnosed with Autism to mature adults -, so I'm looking forward to what comes next。 。。。more

Love this bookIf you've read the previous firefighter series from this author, you're going to love reconnecting with Buck。 And even if you haven't read them, you're going to fall in love with this book。 The humour is spot on, and the kids are just adorable。 Love this bookIf you've read the previous firefighter series from this author, you're going to love reconnecting with Buck。 And even if you haven't read them, you're going to fall in love with this book。 The humour is spot on, and the kids are just adorable。 。。。more

I have read from the beginning starting with Fire and Rescue Shifters。 These have all been excellent。 If you are looking for a binge read here it is。 It had taken a while for this one to come out so I had forgotten how Buck became a shifter but it was brought to light into the book。 You don't have to start with Fire and Rescue Shifters but if you do you will understand his references better。 Love this as much as the others。 Can't wait for the next one。 I have read from the beginning starting with Fire and Rescue Shifters。 These have all been excellent。 If you are looking for a binge read here it is。 It had taken a while for this one to come out so I had forgotten how Buck became a shifter but it was brought to light into the book。 You don't have to start with Fire and Rescue Shifters but if you do you will understand his references better。 Love this as much as the others。 Can't wait for the next one。 。。。more

so good to be back with the crewI loved Buck in the prior series so I squealed and hurriedly borrowed this book once it came out。 It was a wonderful start to the series, full of laughs and new characters。 I did think that there were moments when the story dragged a little, what with Buck fighting his animal but his and Honey’s interactions, as well as the interactions with what are going to likely be the next generation of stories were funny and at times emotional。 A sweet story overall。

This is a laugh out loud tale lof ove, shifters, summer camp, kids, a super grumpy hero and a sweet lady looking for peace。 (I giggled so much that I started to get the side eye from the spouse!)I haven't read the entire previous series and while it would give a better back story it's not redquired。 We get enough background woven into the narrative that you get the idea。 I highly recommend this one, it has all the feel goods, Enjoy! tbh I would read an entire series that was solely about Buck grumpily being forced into the role of summer camp counsellor to precocious shifter children。 I chuckled my way through this。

Did not disappoint Buck’s story has been anticipated for a while。 It did not disappoint。 From laugh out loud comments to moments when he needed a good kick in the rear, his character was as stubborn as always。 The summer camp setting worked well for this story and the kid side characters were a hoot。 They tried their best to help, but much like Coyote and Road Runner, things didn’t quite work out as planned。 Buck’s make is everything he needs。

Not expectedEverything about Buck's story is unexpected。 As hot shot crew chief for decades he had growled, grumbled, fussed and stewed over his shifter crew。 He had watched each find their mate and start a family but never expecting it for himself。 Not expectedEverything about Buck's story is unexpected。 As hot shot crew chief for decades he had growled, grumbled, fussed and stewed over his shifter crew。 He had watched each find their mate and start a family but never expecting it for himself。 。。。more

Worth the wait!!!I just loved this book! The kids and their antics were hilarious! I was literally laughing out loud reading this! I was so excited to find out Buck would get his own story。 It was a long wait but soo worth it。 I was laughing from the very first page。 I wouldn't say it's necessary to read the previous series, but I do recommend it。 It was an amazing series。 Buck never expected to be a 'motherloving shifter'。 He and his animal are not in sync。 When he 'accepts' (was guilted into) a position of camp counselor, things take an unexpected turn。 Honey, looking for a change。 Spending the summer at a camp for kids s I was so excited to find out Buck would get his own story。 It was a long wait but soo worth it。 I was laughing from the very first page。 I wouldn't say it's necessary to read the previous series, but I do recommend it。 It was an amazing series。 Buck never expected to be a 'motherloving shifter'。 He and his animal are not in sync。 When he 'accepts' (was guilted into) a position of camp counselor, things take an unexpected turn。 Honey, looking for a change。 Spending the summer at a camp for kids seems like a great idea。 What she doesn't know is these are all shifter kids。 She didn't even know they existed。 Buck and Honey are paired up and get off to a pretty rocky start。 For the sake of the kids, they learn to work together。 This book was hilarious。 The kids were adorable with their antics when it comes to the couple。 Seeing some favorite characters from the Wildfire books was great。 The things that came out of Buck's mouth were just priceless。 Being the first in a new series, we meet a lot of new characters and catch up with old ones。 A must read and another hit for this author。 I received an early copy and this is my honest opinion。 。。。more

Amazing story Well where do I start, first of all I could hardly put it down and that's obvious because I started earlier today well yesterday technically it's nearly 3 AM and I have to be at work in under 8 hours。 The books amazing bringing back favored characters from the wild fire crew series and letting us meet some people we haven't before。 Ragvald is hilarious。 I enjoyed seeing buck again and the world through his eyes as well as Honey's and her maiden name geeze not that it's not plausibl Amazing story Well where do I start, first of all I could hardly put it down and that's obvious because I started earlier today well yesterday technically it's nearly 3 AM and I have to be at work in under 8 hours。 The books amazing bringing back favored characters from the wild fire crew series and letting us meet some people we haven't before。 Ragvald is hilarious。 I enjoyed seeing buck again and the world through his eyes as well as Honey's and her maiden name geeze not that it's not plausible or even probable theirs someone with that name but man I laughed。 The kids are great Archie is something else。 And all in all the story made me smile I was nearly in tears at one point as well。 If you haven't already read the shifters fire and rescue or Wildfire series you should definitely do so before beginning this book as major spoilers are included especially for (firefighter Griffen, Firefighter Unicorn, Wild Fire SeaDragon, wildfire Phenix and Wild Fire Hellhound。) 5 stars a great read from a favorite author。 。。。more

All the magic of summer camp and moreFor any of us who were lucky enough to go to camp during the summer while we were growing up, it was a world unto itself, full of warm nights, friendships forged in shared fun, and learning。 Combine with a couple of people who, already survived their first careers and kids, finding the uniqueness of a true mate, and we have an engaging first of what promises to be a unique series。 After all, the camp is all shifters… Right?
